Can be applied to many different substrates: steel, stainless steel, aluminium, steel alloys, brass, magnesium et metalloïds such as glass, glass fibre, some rubbers and plastics.
Surface preparation necessary to get optimum adhesion.
Application by spraying and curing at high temperature to give a tough and inert finish.
Teflon® PTFE
● PolyTetraFluoroEthylene : thermosetting
● Excellent non-stick properties
● In-use temperature up to 260°C continuously
● Extremely low coefficient of friction
● Good abrasion resistance
● Available in aqueous dispersions
Teflon® FEP
● Fluorinated Ethylene-Propylene copolymer: thermoplastic
● Excellent non-stick properties
● Low coefficient of friction
● In-use temperature up to 205°C continuously
● Available in aqueous dispersions or powders
Teflon® PFA
● PerFluoroAlcoxy: thermoplastic
● Very good non-stick properties
● In-use temperature up to 260°C continuously
● Dry film thickness up to 1000 µm
● Excellent chemical resistance
● Available in aqueous dispersions or powders
Teflon® ETFE
● Ethylene-TetraFluoroEthylene copolymer: thermoplastic
● Excellent chemical resistance
● In-use temperature up to 150°C continuously
● Tougher resin among fluoropolymers
● Very resistant coating
● Dry film thickness up to 1000 µm
● Available in aqueous dispersion or powders
Teflon-S® Onecoats
● Special blend of PTFE or FEP in other high-performance resin
● Aqueous or solvent based dispersions
● High toughness
● Abrasion resistance

● Contains a binder to provide adhesion onto the substrate
● Curing between 165°C and 350°C
