Heat Treatment Stop-off compounds

Sole distributor of stop-off paints from Acheson (Carbostop® and Nitrostop®) for customers spcecialised in the heat treatment (carburising, nitriding, plasma nitriding). They are thermochemical treatments, usually conducted at temperatures in the range of 800°C-940°C.
These processes change the chemical composition of a low-carbon steel component at the surface.

These products are stopping off paints to prevent carburising, carbonitriding occuring during hardening in controlled atmosphere furnaces.
