Masking tapes  :

In addition to the coatings, Tetrachim supplies the appropriate masking and high temperature tapes for the surface treatment market.

Paper masking tapes:
These creped paper masking tapes are designed for general use applications in industrial masking. Their advantages are their excellent conformability (good curve masking), their paint flacking resistance (good finshed surface) and their excellent initial tack (easy to apply).

High temperature glass cloth tapes:
The glass cloth tapes coated with a silicone adhesive have been developped for many applications requiring high-temperature resistance, high adhesion and a very strong, abrasion-resistant backing. That's why we recommend these glass cloth tapes for masking in fluoropolymer spraying applications.

Plasma spray and HVOF masking tapes:
These tapes combine excellent physical properties with high-temperature resistance. They are ideal tapes for the protection of metal parts subjected to extremely high temperatures of plasma spray coating process or of High Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) spraying. Some of them are designed for use in manufacturing and repair of aircraft engines.

We can also cut and transform these tapes. Our films are available in roll or sheet format. We cut them to your requirements, according to the size of the parts to be protected. This is very convenient to coat and mask recurrent parts. Our log can be cutted in width from 3mm up to 1000mm.
