Silver Plating Electrolyte
The Silver plating electrolyte has been developed for the selective electrolysis process. It consists of a water-based solution containing metallic ions that will be deposited on metallic substrates. Silver coatings offer excellent corrosion and wear resistance. They can be used for surface repair by mechanical refurbishment, as a preparation coating for welding or as a decorative coating.
The Silver plating electrolyte requires a specific surface preparation to ensure a good grip on the metal. The cleaning and priming treatment products by Lorilleux are also available in Tetrachim range.
