Bonderite® Specialty Coatings by Henkel ensure process optimization through dry lubrication and provide lifetime protection against wear, corrosion, fretting, galling or sticking. They are the perfect solution for applications where a fluid lubricant cannot be used.

The versatility of Bonderite® dry film lubricants is unsurpassed. It extends to their use on flexible substrates such as rubber and allows use in adverse environmental conditions involving nuclear radiation or chemical attack.

Their outstanding properties include:

> Clean and dry lubrication
> Maintenance-free lifetime performance
> Durability under extreme conditions
> Suppression of stick-slip effects
> High resistance against chemical and corrosive attack
> Multi-substrate compatibilty

Bonderite® dry-film lubricants can span the gap between design and performance expectations, between success and failure. For applications here on earth, in the sky and in space, Bonderite® dry-film lubricants by Henkel smooth the way to better results.

In dry film lubricants, solid lubricating materials are held in special binder systems which provide excellent adhesion to the surface to be coated. The solid lubricants of choice are graphite, molybdenum disulphide and PTFE. They are compatible with a variety of substrates such as rubber, wood, glass, plastic and metals.

Henkel has the experience and know-how to provide the industry with tailormade lubricating dry film coatings, and to solve specific industry needs. The Bonderite resin dry film coatings ensure clean and dry lifetime lubrication in various applications for
automotive components and aerospace equipment. Henkel’s dry film lubricants are used as running-in coatings on pistons of combustion engines as well as anti-fretting coatings in jet engines and nuclear power plants. Locks, plastic components, sliding rails, suspensions and steering mechanisms are all lubricated in this way.
