856G-304 Mid-coat FEP Green
856G-304 is a water-based FEP mid-coat designed to provide excellent non-stick properties, chemical and corrosion resistance. Liquid FEP products are a natural choice for release applications with low abrasion. They’re mainly used in Industrial Bakeware and moulds applications. As a pigmented layer, 856G-304 mid-coat improves the permeation resistance of the coating system.
Recommended primers are 420G-71x and 470G-71x. Recommended Topcoats are 856G-300, 856G-420 and 532G-8111.
FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene copolymer) non-stick coatings melt and flow during baking to provide nonporous films which is a natural choice for release applications with low abrasion. In addition to low friction, FEP coatings have excellent nonstick properties and excellent chemical resistance. The maximum use temperature is of 205°C.
